My name is Kristina (you can call me Kris) and I am special educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. Most of that time I spent teaching middle school, but I have spent time teaching elementary and high school learners as well. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education and started teaching right after graduation. Specifically, I ran a program learners with social-emotional needs. A few years later, I received my master’s degree in special education with a specialization in autism. I chose coursework in a variety of topics: social skills, modifications/accommodations, counseling, reading instruction, assessments, and more. I have a particular interest and strength with social emotional learning, executive functioning, behavior management, coping strategies, mindfulness, social skills, and study skills. If you’re interested, feel free to read more about my expertise.
I am currently a full-time curriculum designer, creating educational resources for special educators, interventionists, behavior specialists, regular educators, parents, and other support professionals. I am inspired by being able to help support thousands of educators all around the world with the resources I create.
Besides education, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dog, Nova, going hiking, jogging, watching hockey (go St. Louis Blues!) and cooking.
As an educator and curriculum specialist, my goal is always to help all learners find their pathway to success! Thank you for being part of that journey with me.
